WEB ASSIGNMENT #5: Beauty

How would you define beauty in photography?
In photography, beauty is when the subject of the photo is captured when they are being their true self. If a photo is too posed, then it is not as beautiful as a photo of a person just being them-self.

What are the characteristics of photographic beauty?
For a photo to be beautiful, is needs to have good lighting, color, and composition, and it also needs to tell a story.

Can something "ugly" be photographed and be considered beautiful?
Yes, ugly things can be photographed as beautiful, but it might take more work. With the right perspective, colors, blur, and angles, "ugly" things can be made to look beautiful. In this photo, an old rusty barn was turned into a great picture by having the colors changed into black and white.

Quintessentially beautiful photograph.
